A Note from HEI
To Our Clients and Friends,
At Huntington Escrow, Inc., serving our clients is at the very heart of who we are as a company. Our leadership team wants to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our clients and our entire staff. Huntington Escrow, Inc. is currently open for business and continues to be fully operational.
We have implemented precautionary measures that include the following:
Deferring nonessential business travel and enforcing stay-at-home protocols for anyone who is ill or has been exposed to someone who is ill. We will work with employees who are not feeling well to make it easy for these individuals to stay home and to not be concerned about missing days of work.
We ask clients to please use all outside means for signing of documents. If documents can be signed via DocuSign, this method is to be used first. In the event clients cannot sign via DocuSign or find a notary public for notarizing a document locally, they are to contact their escrow officer to make other arrangements as needed. Our goal is to keep people from having to travel far outside of their home to deliver and/or complete documentation, as much as possible.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local, state and federal agencies to ensure we take the proper steps to help prevent the spread of the virus and that all actions we take align with CDC recommendations and guidance.
We have implemented work cleaning procedures including frequent antibacterial wipe down of work areas and of public spaces. We have communicated directly to our employees on the importance of thoroughly washing their hands and providing them with sanitizer and other preventative services throughout our office.
As new information is introduced, we will continue to update and refine our policies as necessary. We appreciate your business and are available for all of your escrow needs. We encourage all to follow the recommended protocols that have been put in place to help limit the likelihood of contracting the virus or putting others at risk.
Warm Regards,
Len Schaustal
Managing Director and Escrow Officer
